Chipping Campden and the Stow-on-the-Wold are steeped in history and the villages were both major market towns for the trading of wool in the medieval period. Chipping Campden is famous for its architecture, particularly the ‘wool church’ of St James , the medieval market hall and the 17th century Almshouses. Both towns have plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs to keep you entertained during your stay.
